bio
I was born in 1969 in a small town in the Southern coast of Spain called La linea, where they used to hang fishes in the clothes lines. But I've lived most of the time in Benalmadena, Malaga.
My first trip was, alone, to my grandmother's home. Since then I've kept on travelling, and after staying at home, It's one of the things I like the most.
I did my first drawings with a blue pen on the back of my mother's photographs. Then I did them on notebooks.
I'm self-taught. I've had many different jobs, from tourist guide in Lourdes to steward in the Channel tunnel, until I made an MA Ilustration at Eina School in Barcelona in 2007. Since then I've participated in different courses with Beatrice Alemagna, Carl Cneut or Mariona Cabassa and Rebeca Luciani, where I've learned a lot.
In 2008 I published my first illustrated book with the Editorial House OQO, Petala, a dove I met in a trip to Porto.
I live in Barcelona at the moment and I'm working as an illustrator. I publish regularly in newspapers and magazines.
I've worked for The Guardian, Le Monde, House and Garden, El País, Público, Diari Avui, Long Magazine, IESE, DEFRA, Viagem e turismo or Editorial Bambú among others.
